You can do a lot to help prevent low back pain by keeping yourself physically fit, having the correct posture, and being careful not to do more than you’re capable of. A strong, fit body is less likely to develop injuries or chronic back pain.
Practice core-strengthening exercises and stretching exercises for your hips and pelvis. Don’t slouch in your chair, and make sure your office chair is correctly adjusted. Don’t sit or stand for long periods without moving around at frequent intervals.
